Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics, a leading aesthetician school, was formed in 2002 as a division of Atlanta School of Massage. Named a 2004 School of Distinction by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges of Technology (ACCSCT) national accrediting agency, Atlanta School of Massage has been an international leader in massage therapy education for over 30 years. Formed by the same management team, with the same high standards in mind, our aesthetician school in Atlanta is following the same path of excellence set by its parent company. Our experience of preparing students for careers in massage therapy translates well to this exciting and evolving skin care profession. With our highly trained instructors, a comprehensive curriculum and professionally equipped facility, Atlanta Institute of Aesthetics is an innovative aesthetician school that is changing the face of skin care education.
Our Teachers
The faculty at our aesthetician school is comprised of highly skilled, experienced professionals who are committed to ensuring that every esthetician student has a solid foundation in entry-level skin care knowledge and skills. We encourage each educator and student in our esthetics programs to be committed to traditional modalities integrated with an holistic approach to skin care, to be service-minded to patrons, and to pursue continuing education throughout their esthetician career.
Our Student Body
The students attending our aesthetician school in Atlanta represent diversity in age, nationality, and career backgrounds. The majority of students are from Georgia and the Southeast, but many other states and foreign countries are represented. They range in age from 18 to 69, with most between 24 and 45.
Whether our students are searching for their first career or are planning a major career change, their reasons for pursuing a skincare career are often similar: they feel skin care is a profession where they can connect with clients one-on-one and enjoy delivering treatments that make people look and feel great. A career in skin care can offer flexibility and creativity, allowing each person to enjoy success in their own way in a variety of settings.
